About
Hey there, I’m Josh! Thank you for taking the time to visit the site and learn a bit more about me. I am a problem solver at heart - I like technology, I like politics and I like learning new things. Getting this blog up on Github Pages is, in part, part of teaching myself some new things about web development.
My Experience
I have a Bachelor in Game Development - an accomplishment that I’m quite proud of, despite my short-lived career in the field.
During my time at University, I was introduced to the world of Student Unions. My experience there helped me realize I had a bit of a knack for political work, and I’m exploring my Masters in the public policy.
I try to blend my technical knowledge with my people and political skills to bring unique perspectives to all the work I do - profesionally or otherwise.
What to Expect from the Blog
I started this because I often have thoughts that are too long-winded for an Instagram story, and I’m too verbose to keep things at the length that short-form video content has made our attention spans accustomed to.
I expect most of my content will revolve around some form of political content, the majority of which will cover politics in the Province of Ontario, and might expand to federal politics. I’m not going to write about or discuss American politics. There’s enough of that out there, and not enough Canadian content.
Beyond that, I may cover any number of personal projects or musings outside of the political spectrum, but you’ll know it when you see it.
